Its name loosely translates to 'sweet smelling sedum.' Delicate white blooms emerge from within the rosette, barely reaching over the edges of its leaves. The fragrance of these blooms, as its name would suggest, are sweet smelling. This plant has an interesting backstory. It was first discovered back in 1976 by a pair of researchers from the Huntington Botanical Garden
