吉野桃李 萩茶盌 塚本治彦 reminiscent of a red MountA Hagi Chawan by Tori Yoshino, a ceramic artist based in Mine, Yamaguchi Prefecture. This Chawan has a refined white surface, gently suffused with a subtle loquat tone. Along the rim, the white glaze creates a soft and graceful landscape, while fine nanako style crackle spreads beautifully across the surface. This work was born from the artists reconsideration of the roots of Ko Hagi, and from the idea of using Daido kaolin clay found in the Hagi
