転写やAIを用い独自の作風を生み出している伊勢崎陽太郎さんの最新作、HAL面取茶碗。イエローのボディには、90年代アニメ風のキャラクターが転写によって表現され、陶土の質感と鮮やかなモチーフとが響き合っています。彫りや焼成の過程で生まれた転写の削げが、表面に偶然性をもたらし、陶土に転写が溶け込むような独特の風合いを生み出しています。さらに高台にも部分的に転写が施され、土味と視覚的モチーフが一体となって、ユニークな景色を構成しています。柔らかなカーブを描く口縁や、見込みにはお茶映えの良いシルバーが刷毛により用いられています。ユニークで遊び心のある一品です。
