Howard Hodgkin: Red Sky in the Morning Rug Rob McKeever of wear and tearThis limited edition hand tufted rug, based on Howard Hodgkins Red Sky in the Morning (2016), translates the vivid colors and virtuosic gestures of the renowned British artists painting into Ghazni wool, a material from Afghanistan known for its wide range of color variation. Fabricated by a skilled artisan who uses a tufting gun to replicate Hodgkins abstract design, the rug is produced by Christopher Farr, a London based company that has been at the
