Ascension - All Options Deep Blues Dramatic and unrelenting

Dramatic and unrelenting

a dark narrow band holds the horizon with subtle authority — the only fixed point in a composition that otherwise breathes freely in all directions

Hushed and dissolving

it relaxes into it

Ascension - All Options Deep Blues Dramatic and unrelentingLuminous and weightless, it carries the feeling of something in the act of rising pale white breaking through cool gray, misty blue dissolving into near nothing. The work holds an almost sacred stillness, as though the canvas caught a single suspended moment between cloud and sky. There is nothing heavy here. Only light, finding its way. The original canvas painting was created in 2019.
