Artistic Process:  Blue and clear glass were cut to size and fused together

This plate is sized to function as a dinner plate

I grinded smooth all the edges and then it was fire polished in the kiln

Majestic Wonder hike Light on the weave createsInspiration: the amazing vistas while hiking in Patagonia in South America Artistic Process: A variety of glass was made using several different techniques. These glasses were cut and combined based on my vision and design, then multiple additional firings with highlights and detailing added. After cold working the edges smooth and straight and fired in the kiln for a fire polish. Displayed in a Stainless steel sculpture stand painted black.
