Description

and a whippet stands in for a mythic beast

the composition shifts in appearance with changes in light and perspective

What remains reads like a clipped promise

We encounter the apple acting as a conduit for experimentations in abstract expressionism

Clear Bits Home Page and a whippet stands inThis work is a modular, wall based sculptural painting, combining my recognisable tactile fibre surfaces with oil paint, which invites a pre verbal, bodily engagement with form, colour, and texture. Shown as part of my solo exhibition 'Not Scary, but Soft' at APT gallery in 2026.
