When I take the silver dome off the pin retracts (4th picture), I have taken the button off, (3rd picture) it is held by three clips and it appears there should be something extra in there that makes the pin retract, all there is is just a large spring, all looks the same as in Taffs pictures (thanks taff for taking the trouble)
Never-the-less, there I was, stubborn as all get out, staying out there trying to catch these little fish
