Symptoms of affected dogs may include dystonia, dyskinesia, chorea and ataxia. Affected dogs can also have symptoms of episodic gait abnormalities, muscular tension of all limbs, tremor and reduced mentation. The episodes can lead to collapse, lasting 5 15 minutes and are caused by excitement or exercise.
